‘Aurora’ means dawn. The high alpine outpost jutting out of the mountainside in this painting sits quietly in the dawn of a new day. It is not unlike my vision of a dream house, nestled in the grandeur of great peaks. The whimsical palette reminds the viewer that this painting is an idealized vision of home.
