“A global pandemic commands the bustle of industry to take pause. The opportunity provided by this pause is an upsurge in the perceived value of the ‘outdoor world’ as we seek respite from the isolation of indoor life. The new body of work entitled “Fountainhead” by Noelle Phares explores the essence of a unique kind of solace provided by outdoor spaces, the originator of that solace being nature itself. Visual themes include water bodies, foliage, and the structures that humans build to enter and steep in green belts - wild and tamed. Contemplation of our natural origins feels more vital than ever as we rebuild our world in the wake of Covid-19 with a greater understanding of where we come from, what are made of, where we could go.”

Below is a preview of the work in my new exhibition, “Fountainhead”. The show opens to the public at Denver’s Space Gallery this Friday, October 2. However the work will go on pre-sale through Space Gallery’s website at 12pm mountain time on Thursday, Oct 1 . My Collector List will receive an email with a link to the gallery’s hidden purchase web page for all the work included in this preview. Anything sold in the pre-sale and throughout the duration of the exhibition will be shipped or available for pick-up after the show wraps on Nov. 7.
